Callaway says that the women's market is one of the fastest growing in golf, and so they wanted to give these golfers more options to choose from when looking for new equipment to help improve their game.
Step forward, the new Big Bertha REVA range...
REVA Driver
The Big Bertha REVA Driver is a driver aimed for women who are seeking to gain more distance, and it uses the same technology as in the men's driver but reworked to be ideally suited to the needs of female golfers.
Callaway says that they have conducted significant research and testing with women in order to optimise lofts, weights, shaft lengths, and forgiving head shape.
The REVA driver promotes high launch with lower spin to help straighten up your ball flight, whilst ball speed is optimised thanks to a combination of the AI Flash Face SS21, TA-15 Titanium and Jailbreak Technology.
The REVA Driver is available from 15th October at an RRP of £449, and features a new RCH 40 shaft that's specifically designed to increase swing speed to give you more distance.
REVA Fairway and Hybrid
Similar to the men's models, the new REVA Fairway and Hybrid are said to be Callaway's easiest ever to launch, giving you more confidence to go for the green on longer approaches without having to worry about what happens if you don't quite catch it well.
Forgiveness comes thanks to the Big Bertha's friendly shaping and increased offset, which can help to promote a draw shape and get rid of that big slice for more consistent straight shots.
A T2C carbon crown also raises the MOI for an easy launch with more forgiveness, whilst the Hybrid also features injected tungsten weights in the sole to enhance launch and get the ball up and going much more easily.
The REVA Fairway is priced at £279, and the Hybrid £229, with both clubs available from 15th October.
REVA Irons
Callaway says that the new Big Bertha REVA irons are an offering which delivers 'more ball speed, higher launch and straighter shots' to give you a new level of confidence out on the course. Sounds good so far...
The AI Flash Face Cup has made it's way into a women's Big Bertha iron for the first time, which improves ball speeds and spin 'robustness' from every cub in the set thanks to a unique face architecture for each iron.
There's also a Visible Tungsten Energy Core which moves the centre of gravity deeper back in the head and so this will make it easier for you hit the ball higher in the air.
The irons also benefit from improved feel thanks to urethane microspheres, which are designed to absorb unwanted vibrations without reducing speed.
The Big Bertha REVA irons are also available from 15th October and are priced at £1149, with graphite shafts as standard.
