How? Hovland shot a course record 61 in the final round which included a stunning back nine of 28 to overtake both Matt Fitzpatrick and Scottie Scheffler and win the penultimate event in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The Norwegian started the final round three strokes behind but his sensational birdie run gave him a two-shot victory after Scheffler three-putted on the 17th green for bogey.
