Who? 36 year-old American Dustin Johnson.
What? The 2020 Travelers Championship, his 21st PGA Tour victory, and 13th consecutive season with a victory.
Where? TPC River Highlands, Cromwell, Connecticut.
How? Despite sitting in T-79th place after the first round, DJ fired a career-low round of 61 on Saturday to move himself back into contention, and after a couple of birdies on Sunday's front nine put him into the lead, he never really looked like giving it up. His tee shot on the 15th narrowly avoided the water, but after saving par there he was able to get home one stroke ahead of clubhouse leader Kevin Streelman for his first PGA Tour win in over a year.
Following the victory, Johnson said:
I’m definitely proud of myself for continuing the streak. It was a long time between wins though. Hopefully it won’t be that long for the next one. Even though there’s no fans here, you can still feel the pressure. The rain delay didn’t help very much because then I actually had time to think about everything!
