Who? 27 year-old Scotsman, Robert MacIntyre.
What? The 2024 RBC Canadian Open, his first PGA Tour victory.
Where? Hamilton Golf and Country Club, Hamilton, Ontario.
How? MacIntyre won his first PGA Tour title on a tense final day in Canada, holding off a host of challengers with a final round of 68 to clinch a one stroke victory over Ben Griffin. The Scotsman, with his dad Dougie on the bag, had to withstand early pressure from Mackenzie Hughes, whilst Rory McIlroy and Tom Kim also jumped up the leaderboard to finish in the top five. Ben Griffin made three late birdies to move within one, but MacIntyre safely parred the last hole to take the title.
