Any fans of golf will know that brands tend to exaggerate a little every time they come out with a new product - how many times have you heard about a new driver that's 'faster, longer and more forgiving' than anything else?
Odyssey have announced a whole host of new putters will be coming to Pro Shops near you in 2022, but the new Eleven model is claimed to be their 'most exciting shape' ever.
Aiming to reimagine mallet performance, the Odyssey Eleven combines the famous White Hot insert with the Stroke Lab shaft to improve consistency in your stroke.
New Eleven Shape
In creating the Eleven shape, Odyssey have improved upon the Ten model by focusing on forgiveness and alignment properties. It's designed to help you frame the ball with the right alignment at address whilst providing higher MOI for increased stability and therefore better accuracy.
Red Stroke Lab Shaft
The latest generation of the Stroke Lab shaft, complete with red finish, was introduced last season. A shorter steel section saves around 7g of weight, whilst the shaft has been made stiffer and more stable to try and add even more consistency.
Forward CG and High Inertia
A multi-material design allows for a more forward CG positioning, nearly one-quarter of an inch closer to the face than other leading mallets.
This is said to improve performance, speed control, spin control, performance on off-centre hits and a much tighter dispersion on long-range putts.
Super lightweight TPU sole insert
This insert is designed to improve the sound and feel, whilst the use of the lightweight material ensures that the CG can still be positioned in the optimal place in the head.
Crowned design
The putter's crowned design allows Odyssey to finish the shape, and provides a blank canvas for different alignment aids depending on the golfer's own preference.
White Hot Insert
The most popular insert of all time, White Hot has returned with the original formulation, feel, sound and performance as seen in the White Hot OG range of last year.
There are three different Eleven options available: a Tour lined version, a Triple Track alignment version, and a classic unlined version, in two different hosel configurations.
They will be available from 18th February and are priced at £329, with a choice of either Pistol or OS grips.
