Inspired by Nike's Free running technology, and the success of the TW'13 and TW'14 shoes, the Nike FI Impact shoe is designed to offer freedom of movement and maximum feel on the golf course.
The lightweight design of the men's and women's FI (or Free-Inspired) Impact shoe offers players the flexibility to move more freely and provides the flexibility golfers need to unleash the full power of their swing.
Nike's Free-Inspired outsole mimics the natural motion of your feet, allowing players to keep contact with the ground longer, better harnassing the energy from your feet to your shoes, therefore, your shoes to the ground. Additionally, the outsole design provides all the traction and protection of a lightweight performance golf shoe.
The Free-Inspired platform is topped with a waterproof mesh upper. This lightweight upper keeps your feet dry, cool and comfortable whilst offering increased flexibility.
The men's model (top row images) features Nike's Dynamic Fit system. The technology is engineered to fit to your feet and provide the support that athletes/golfers demand.
Just as Tiger Woods helped Nike developed the TW'13 and TW'14 shoes, Suzann Pettersen was involved in developing the ladies FI Impact golf shoe (second row images).
"We collaborated closely with Pettersen to create a shoe fit for her game," said Lee Walker, Nike Golf’s footwear product director. "The FI Impact allows her to get the transfer of energy she demands, proving even a swing as powerful as Pettersen’s can utilise the performance of Integrated Traction."
Both models come with a one-year limited waterproof warranty and will enter the market with an RRP of £95.
