To get more distance, more feel and more control, you need more RZN. That is message Nike are giving along with their upgraded 20XI X and 20XI balls.
The 20XI X ball is a Tour level ball that is designed for players that want more distance, with the control and spin associated with the 20XI range. Thanks to double the amount of RZN, Nike were able to add more performance to the 20XI X and add 2 to 3 mph more ball speed with some of their Tour players.
Nike's proprietary RZN technology creates a material that is lighter and faster than traditional rubber. By using a lighter, more dense material, Nike were able to move more of the weight of the ball to the perimeter.
By altering the weight properties within the ball, the 20XI X is more stable in the air and maintains its spin throughout the flight of the ball. Typically MOI is reserved for metal woods and irons, but Nike have increased the MOI of the 20XI X ball, meaning it is more resistance to twisting which leads to lower spin off the tee.
Along with the 20XI X, the Nike 20XI is aimed at golfers who want improved feel and control in their short game.
