Complimenting the new JPX 923 iron range, Mizuno's updated JPX Fli-Hi hybrid has been engineered to give golfers more help with their long game and replace the less reliable mid to long irons.
Designed for golfers of all abilities, the Fli-Hi was first introduced with the aim of providing better playability and easier ball-flighting potential.
Available between #4 and #7, the hybrids are easy-launching and are designed to give golfers better distance gaps at the top end of the bag.
An internal weight is positioned on the back side, which encourages a draw bias as well as lowering the centre of gravity to provide the higher launch. The Fli-Hi can also be included with an iron set during the custom fitting process, with the same shafts as the irons, to ensure that the hybrid best matches with the rest of your gear.
Compared to previous generations, the new Fli-Hi has a wider footprint and a new material footprint which makes it more playable and high-flying.
A 17-4 stainless steel face and 431 SS body improve ball speed, while there is a bendable hosel which allows for adjustments in the lie angle.
A lighter crown combines with the internal weight to help raise launch, and an updated Wave Soleplate increases the sweet spot of the club face for more consistent and higher ball speeds.
There is a graduating profile as you move through the hybrid set which is engineered to maximise playability. The #4 (20 degrees) hybrid has a wider fairway-type profile, with the #7 (29 degrees) having a tighter shape with a deeper face.
Available now, the JPX Fli-Hi comes in right-handed only and is priced at £150.
