Mizuno's Genem golf shoes mark the brand's foray into eco-friendly footwear, utilising recycled materials and a Bloom TPE midsole, which is composed of algae-blended resin. Additionally, the Genem boasts recycled BOA wire, synthetic upper, and synthetic fibres, incorporated into the heel cuff and tongue.
Genem WG BOA
Genem showcases Mizuno's groundbreaking Enerzy midsole, said to be designed to provide superior energy return and increased clubhead speed, while simultaneously reducing walking fatigue. Coupled with the spikeless Wgrip technology, the shoe is aimed at delivering grip and traction throughout the swing sequence.
Constructed using eco-friendly materials, the Genem features recycled Nylon and Synthetic Leather with a BOA closure system aimed to deliver a secure, slip-free fit. The upper comprises a recycled nylon material, with the tongue and heel crafted from recycled polyester.
