If you want a simple, quality leather based glove then the FootJoy Contour FLX is going to put its hand up for you.

The palm is made with premium CabrettaSof leather that feels as good as it looks and gives the Contour FLX the feel of a classic golf glove.

It has the smell of leather and the usual perforations down each finger to release moisture and having tried it in various climates I can say that it breathes well so your hands don't get as sweaty on a hot day as they normally would with a leather glove.
That could be due in part to the back of the glove which uses a FiberSof material that is lighter and helps the breathability.

The soft moisture wicking cuff also helps with this and is a nice length and features a small FJ logo stiched on the palm side which is a classy touch.

Across the knuckle is the PowerNet slot that has an elasticised mesh that flexes as you close your hand. The elastics used in the PowerNet are finer than before so they are lighter for weight and breathability.

It's not as wide as the one on the more technical FootJoy ProFLX glove but every little helps.
The usual FootJoy ComforTab Velcro closure tightens everything up and with the clean looks and simple white on black FJ logo, you could easily mistake the Contour FLX for the more premium Pure Touch Limited glove from a distance and I think that adds to its appeal.

For the money it is a good quality leather glove that really looks the part, fits well and performs whatever the temperature, so for a premium glove without the price, get your hands in a Contour FLX.
