Golf giants Callaway are introducing a new line-up of footwear for 2023, headlined by their Tour Series, closely followed by Callaway’s Nitro Series, Chev Series and Sky Series for women.
All series' are infused with Callaway’s latest technology, comfort, performance and design.
Headlining the Tour Series is Lux, boasting a fresh design that aims to blend high-quality full-grain leather uppers and glove leather linings with features such as a crush-foam midsole that offers energy return, a moulded OrthoLite footbed, and a spikeless TPU outsole.
Also included in the Tour Series are Mav X and Adapt. Mav X is said to be the lightweight option in the Tour Series, structured with a TPU force-flex outsole and crush-foam technology. The Adapt shoe aims to provide performance across all surfaces with Callaway’s latest Vera-Trax sole system, a soft upper and crush-foam midsole.
Built for comfort, the Nitro Series models are the first shoes in the world to feature Callaway’s new Crush-Foam technology. Nitro Blaze is said to offer comfort with micro-coated mesh uppers with Ortholite and Crush-Foam midsole energy return. It also includes a TPU spikeless outsole and saddle structure.
The other model in the Nitro Series in the Nitro Pro. It is also said to offer a Crush-Foam midsole and a TPU spikeless sole but is aimed to be more lightweight and remove unnecessary friction points.
Designed to be lightweight and waterproof, the Chev Series includes the new retro-inspired shoe, ‘The 82’, celebrating 40 years of Callaway heritage. Said to be perfect at home or on the course and is available in three colour options. The 82 includes an all-new Opti-Soft foam midsole, aimed to provide comfort and style inspired from 1982.
Included in the Chev Series is the Chev LS, which is aimed to focus on comfort and performance. These shoes have a soft leather upper with multi-directional Softspikes and Opti-Soft foam midsole.
Chev Ace and Chev Ace Aero are the final two shoes in the Chev Series, both aimed to provide breathability and said to provide heat management and multi-directional rubber soles. The Chev Ace is said to provide waterproof comfort whereas the Aero is aimed towards summer golf, being lightweight and being breathable.
The last series in this collection is the Sky Series, said to be built for a combination of ultra-lightweight components and performance features.
Starting off this series is the Lady Laguna which is said to have a full-grain leather upper shoe to provide comfort and a new Vibram advanced rubber spikeless sole. It also includes a Crush-Foam footbed, which is aimed to provide shock absorption and energy return.
Aurora and Aurora LT are two other options in this series, both include an Opti-Soft foam midsole and a spikeless rubber outsole. However, the Aurora is said to be fully waterproof compared to the LT which is aimed more for Summer, being more lightweight and breathable.
The final shoe in this series is the Vista. Aimed to be athletic and waterproof, the Vista has a spiked dura-rubber outsole featuring Softspikes Fast Twist Pivix dynamic cleats and is also said to include Ortholite Comfort insole to maximise comfort.
