Bushnell have forged a reputation as the #1 in golf when it comes to laser rangefinders, so every time they come out with a new product it's worth a closer look.
The brand have just announced details of the new Pro X3 which replaces the Pro XE, claiming that it has "taken the world's best golf laser rangefinder and made it even better" thanks to a host of new technologies.
One of the main new additions is an update to the Slope with Elements technology, which now allows golfers to store their home elevation to reflect the compensated distances at the elevation where they play most of their golf.
There is also a new dual display which allows user to choose between a bright red or crisp black display setting, depending on light conditions and the user's own specifications.
"The Pro X3 is replacing the industry's best laser, the Pro XE, and it will now set a new standard in laser rangefinders. From its sleek, ergonomically sound design to dual display and the best compensated distances available, the Pro X3 offers accuracy and performance other lasers simply do not deliver. This technology ensures Bushnell Golf will remain the absolute best laser rangefinder available in golf."
William Flood, Bushnell Golf Global Product Manager.
A patent pending locking slope-switch feature has also been added, which provides a mechanism which reduces the chances of the device accidentally switching between slope mode and non-slope mode during competition play.
Available now, the Pro X3 is priced at an RRP of £525 / €599.
